Dior announced the launch of its new restaurant, Monsieur Dior, at its recently reopened Paris 30 Montaigne store

The restaurant aims to celebrate Christian Dior’s love for the culinary arts, with a menu that embodies the French way of living. At the helm of Monsieur Dior is French chef Jean Imbert, who currently runs both Le Restaurant Monsieur Dior and La Pâtisserie Dior, alongside his long-term collaborator Anthony Clémot.

Monsieur Dior’s menu itself is inspired by the brand’s rich heritage and of course, the designer’s own French cookbook, La Cuisine cousu-main. Classic dishes are enhanced with subtle creative touches and elsewhere, the culinary experience is elevated through the placement of exclusive Dior Maison collections and original artworks. Most notably, the space features a portrait by René Bouché entitled ‘Christian Dior à table’ and a mirror designed by Berlin-based artist Claudia Wieser.

After two years of renovation kicking off in 2020, the Paris boutique reopened its doors earlier this year and now houses a gallery and the two existing restaurants alongside three gardens. The 10,000 square-meter space has been under Dior’s ownership since 1946 and was redesigned by architect Peter Marino.
